Court will continue tomorrow

Well, it was a long day in court day and we do not have a ruling on our behalf. There were documents missing and the judge and the DA we not satisfied enough for the judge to make a decision.

We go back tomorrow at 11 am. We hope to have an answer after this session.
The journey continues . . . . . . it will be worth all of this . . . .

God is in control and we will choose to stand and believe on His promises!

Today must be rough. I am following your journey holding my breath and checking your blog frequently. I know that feeling when the judge tells you what you already know "this child belongs to YOU now!" I am anxious to hear you tell us the great news! Try to get some rest for your big day tomorrow!! Praying for you Karen and Steve.

Continuing to hold your arms up, just like Aaron and Hur! God knows exactly what He is doing and your steps are ordered by Him! He has a reason for allowing this to continue into the second day. Our baby girl's middle name is a reminder to us. "Faith"...the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Rest in God's peace as He works "behind the scene" to bring His purpose to pass...because He who began a good work in you WILL be "FAITH"ful to complete it!!!!!

Love you much,
Marla

I don't understand why they gave you guys such a hard time or why they would give (almost) any adoptive family from America a hard time for that matter. The life you and your husband can provide for this child (at it's WORST) is WAY better than what she was getting in Russia. Oh well, at least you got her! Hope her Kidneys are okay now. Poor little girl. Those people have no clue how to take care of children. It's sickening what happens to these poor babies in other messed up countries. God bless u and ur family!!
